Beta FAQ

How do I get the sonar hardware?

Beta testers can purchase the Depthline sonar module at a discounted rate, or use a compatible third-party sonar unit. We'll confirm compatibility during onboarding.

How many beta spots are available?

We're onboarding testers in small batches to maintain quality. Currently accepting applications — we review weekly and respond within 7 days.

Do I need cave diving certification?

We strongly recommend at least cavern certification for overhead environments. The beta is also open to open-water divers who want to map wrecks, reef walls, and other structures.

What's the time commitment?

Dive at your own pace. We ask for at least 2–3 dives with the sonar module over the beta period, plus occasional feedback surveys. No pressure beyond that.
